Norman married the former Emily Wagner on December 8, 1923 in Menominee, Michigan and she preceded him in death on October 20, 1985. Norman and Sarah had lived in the Town of Lawrence before moving to Wrightstown in 1939. Mr. Bungean employed as a carpenter and was a lifelong member with 50 years of service in Local No.

Therese Catholic Church, the Quarter Century Club of Midtec and the American Association of Retired People. He had held managerial positions at several grocery stores in this area and retired while working at the Institute of Paper Chemistry in 1973. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Joyce E. Prichett, Neenah; Sandra A. and Richard Dirks, Eau Claire; son, David M. and Dianne Kihl, Eau Claire; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
