Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1973 The Mrs. Emma Gruetzmacher St. Joseph's Residence, New London Age 82, passed away in New London on Monday. She was born November 13, 1890 in the Township of Caledonia.

She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. C.E. (Alvina) Austin, Green Bay; Mrs. Anna Magadanz, New London; Miss Amanda Miller, Fremont; nieces and one nephew.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1960. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London, with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Caledonia. Rev.

F.W. Heidemann will officiate. Friends may call at the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home, New London after 2 p.m. Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and then at the church until the hour of the service.

George M. Lorenz Route 1, Black Creek Age 76, passed away early Monday morning. He was born May 31, 1896 in Seymour, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lorenz.

On December 4, 1918 he was united in marriage to the former Elna Barth in Seymour. He farmed in the township of Cicero and was a member of the Cicero United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Julius (Virgilla) Robaidek, Route 2, Pulaski; Mrs. Kenneth (Geraldine) Werner, Route 1, Black Creek; two sons, Eugene, Kaukauna; Kenneth, Route 1, Black Creek; 18 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.

Math Heinzen, Merrill; Miss Eda Lorenz, Marinette. Five brothers, three sisters one daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cicero United Methodist Church with Rev. Franklin Block officiating.

Mr. Lawrence J. Manderfield, 1006 Algoma New London Age 78, passed away early Tuesday morning at New London. He was born March 14, 1894 at Hanco*ck, and has resided in New London since 1920 and retired from the Simmons Company in 1960. Mr.

Manderfield served in the Merchant Marines and was married to Leona Korth, February 9, 1929. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Lucille) Lineburg, New London; two sons, Lawrence, Marinette; Lt. Commdr.

Leonard, Oshkosh; one brother, Matthew, Houghton, one sister, Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Sommers, Hanco*ck, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from Emanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Frederick Heidemann officiating.

Washington Kimberly Age 22, died Monday morning in Madison, the result of a fire. He was born July 25, 1950 in Kimberly. He was a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1968, and was the senior class president, and president of the student council. He was a member of the National Honor Society and was a representative to Badger Boys State in 1967.

He was the recipient of the Bosch and Lomb Science award, a former member of the University of Wisconsin Crew Team, and was sent by the Wisconsin Michigan Power Company to Chicago for a conference on the Atom in 1968 Survivors are his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Philipsen, Kimberly; two brothers, Kenneth, Chadron, Nebraska; Clem, Kimberly; sisters, Mrs. Tony (Joan) Van Krey, Kimberly; Mrs. Richard (Janet) Meyer, Menasha; 7 nephews and 5 nieces.
