Rocky Dakota and Eddie Lucas had a now-infamous "boatmance" filled with drama during Below Deck season 3. Third stew Rocky and bosun Eddie managed to keep their hookups hidden for much of the charter season, and Rocky was even romantically entangled with someone else before Eddie joined the crew. The pair is known as the series' first fling (that viewers knew of), but their romance wasn't the last, as the show is now known for steamy hookups.
Before Rocky and Eddie, it was Rocky and Below Deck season 3 deckhand Emile Kotze who had a relationship. The rest of the Eros crew was so invested in their relationship that they sent them on a romantic date, which went poorly, and promptly ended their budding romance. Rocky had no problem moving on from Emile. She then pursued Eddie, who had a girlfriend.

Below Deck's Rocky & Eddie Get Caught In The Laundry
Rocky and Eddie's relationship appeared to be mostly physical, and they kept it hidden from the cameras and crew for a while. Unlike Rocky and Emile, this time, it was Rocky who was more invested in the relationship. The two were caught "doing laundry" by the cameras, and Rocky confided in fellow Below Deck stew Amy Johnson and Emile. Rocky said, "it was three times in the laundry room, one time in the restroom, and we kept it under wraps." She called their first time amazing, and jokingly added that she wanted to marry Eddie. However, she got more serious when she did admit that she liked him.
Why Did Below Deck's Eddie & Rocky End Their Relationship
Eddie ended things after they slept together several times. The pair initially denied being intimate, until Bravo aired a clip of the Below Deck stars meeting up in the laundry room. Once Below Deck season 3 was over, Eddie told his girlfriend about what happened, and they broke up, but later got back together. That was when another bombshell was revealed. Rocky said that she and Eddie hooked up two more times after Below Deck season 3 ended. However, Eddie never publicly admitted to that.
Rocky and Eddie's relationship was based on lust, and it wasn't too surprising when they shared that it didn't last. Their relationship had long-term consequences, as Eddie alluded to relationship issues being part of the reason why he did not return for Below Deck season 4. Eddie and Rocky have said they regret their short-lived fling on the show, but they both moved on from it. Though it wasn't a forever match, they did have the very first Below Deck hookup, and that "boatmance" will always be remembered.
