Looking forward to the Preds game in Nashville in February.

Well I know for sure now KA doesn't work on Mondays and he really shouldn't work on Tuesdays either. I hope he's hiding something for Wednesday.

How about an offer sheet to Byfield out in LA? You'd have a 21 yr old who can do a lot of what this team needs.

Think he'd sign? Would need to be a big number. I think I might get scared at where the team is, adding a 21yo and expecting not to be a lottery team. You can't make conditions on those picks, they get em whether it's 32OA or 1OA. You hit a lotto pick in 2025 and it goes down as the worst offer sheet ever done.

Who's Cap Dump can we get that might be able to play 3C or atleast work the Nacho Stand.

Zucker is actually a bit more than I figured we would get, as he could potentially be a 20-25 goal guy.

I like all the moves actually. They just don't move the needle at all. they are probably 9th-11th in the east next year, unless something unlikely happens, like another season with 85+ goals out of Thomspon + Cozens, or an 80pt season from Benson, or Kulich making the team and having a 60pt rookie season, or Owen Power making a jump to be an elite defenseman.

All those things are not scenarios to build a team around.

Saying that you’re just now realizing that Kevyn Adams ain’t it as a GM is like saying you’re just now realizing that Joe Biden is out of it.

if he traded for ehlers and signed matt roy, it would have been a good offseason

he did not address the issue at RD and he bought out a guy that scored 93 goals and instead of getting a better 5 on 5 guy he grabbed a 3rd line winger for a year that will probably be playing up on the 2nd line

Well, we should find out pretty soon if any offer sheets will be signed. Believe the deadline for a player to sign one is Friday. Adams has to have one cooking up for someone. Everyone wants to be a Richard to him, he could say (frank) you

A top 6 forward was always going to have to come here via trade. Nobody worth anything in that role is going to come to this disaster willingly. Not that I believe that Adams has the know-how or the spine to pull anything like that off, but that was never going to happen on or near July 1st even if he did.

Just a thought... nothing more nothing less. Being a little radical doesn't always turn out badly.

I had an epic rant this morning at 3am. I "like" all the moves, too, IF:

1) They had gotten a legit tip 6 winger

2) They had gotten a legit 3C

3) They had dumped/traded 3 of their 9 bottom six forwards

4) Adams hadn't blatantly LIED about making this team better
