Setting up any racing wheel correctly in F1 24 will give you the best platform to enjoy this year’s Formula 1 game. F1 24 has introduced new handling characteristics and reworked a lot of the physics including the tyre and suspension physics. This means that using the preset settings, or settings from last year’s F1 game may not be the best option for F1 24.

In this force feedback settings guide, I’m going to run through our recommended wheel settings for F1 24 for the most popular racing wheels, including Fanatec, Logitech, MOZA Racing, and more. Fanatec F1 24 wheel settings

Fanatec is one of the most popular sim racing brands with a wide range of racing wheels. All of their wheels are compatible with F1 24. It is important to ensure your racing wheel matches the platform you are racing on. For example, the CSL DD is only Xbox and PC compatible, whereas the GT DD Pro offers PlayStation compatibility.

When setting up a Fanatec racing wheel in F1 24, you have two sets of force feedback settings that you can change. The first are the settings in F1 24 that include the on track, off track and kerb effects.

You then have a further set of adjustments that can be made using either the Fanatec Control Panel on PC, or accessed via the tuning menu on your steering wheel. Fanatec CSL DD & GT DD Pro F1 24 wheel settings

Fanatec ClubSport DD & DD+ F1 24 wheel settings

The ClubSport DD and DD+ are two of Fanatec’s newest racing wheels. Fanatec DD1 & DD2 F1 24 wheel settings

Both the Podium DD1 and DD2 were Fanatec’s original high-performance racing wheels. The DD2 still remains the most powerful racing wheel that Fanatec has ever produced, and both are still great racing wheels for F1 24.

MOZA Racing F1 24 wheel settings

MOZA Racing has a large lineup of racing wheels, all utilising direct drive technology. The majority of MOZA wheels are only PC-compatible. However, the MOZA R3 does offer Xbox compatibility.

MOZA R3 & R5 F1 24 wheel settings

The settings below are designed for the two lowest-powered MOZA Racing wheels. The R3 and R5 are the two most affordable racing wheels that MOZA offer. These are two of the best budget-friendly racing wheels available when purchased as part of a bundle.

MOZA R9 & R12 F1 24 wheel settings

If I were to recommend only a single MOZA Racing wheel, it would be the R12. It sits right in the mid-range of MOZA’s product lineup and offers fantastic performance for its price. The R12 was the first MOZA wheel to introduce new force feedback algorithms, which led to it offering incredible immersion in games like F1 24.

Logitech F1 24 wheel settings

Logitech has become instantly recognisable within sim racing for producing excellent quality racing wheels at competitive prices. The long line of budget-friendly racing wheels started with the G25 and G27 and now includes the popular G923 wheel.

More recently, Logitech has expanded its sim racing lineup to include a direct drive wheel for the first time. The Logitech Pro wheel is a very capable direct drive wheel offering brilliant performance within F1 24 and is a great performance-focused option.

The Logitech G923 remains one of the best budget-friendly racing wheels for F1 24. It performs incredibly well and is compatible with Xbox, PS5, and PC. It can also be picked up for a very good price at retailers such as Logitech and Amazon.

Logitech G29 & G920 F1 24 wheel settings

The older Logitech G29 and G920 still remain very good racing wheels for F1 24 and can often be found at a lower price than the newer G923. Neither racing wheel includes the newer TrueForce technology. However, this isn’t a game breaker, with both wheels still holding up very well despite their age.

Logitech Pro Racing Wheel F1 24 settings

The Logitech Pro racing wheel is the only direct drive wheel available from Logitech. It creates 11Nm of peak torque from its direct drive motor allowing it to compete directly with mid-range offerings from other sim racing brands.

Thrustmaster F1 24 wheel settings

Like brands such as Fanatec and MOZA Racing, Thrustmaster has a wide range of racing wheels across different budgets. Thrustmaster excels in affordable racing wheels, with the T128 and T248 being among the most affordable force feedback racing wheels available.

Both the Thrustmaster T128 and T248 perform very well in F1 24, and both are accessible to purchase due to their lower price tags.

Thrustmaster T818 F1 24 wheel settings

Thrustmaster TX & T300 RS F1 24 wheel settings

The Thrustmaster TX and T300RS wheels are older racing wheels that are priced at a lower-mid-range price point. They are both still available to buy through resellers such as Amazon and both work well with F1 24.

Thrustmaster TMX & T150 RS F1 24 wheel settings

Before the T248 and T128, the Thrustmaster TMX and T150RS were the original budget-friendly Thrustmaster wheels. They both are available at a similar price to the T128 and use belt driven technology to provide smooth force feedback in games such as F1 24.

Thrustmaster TS-PC, TS-XW & T-GT II F1 24 wheel settings

At the higher performance end of belt-driven racing wheels sit three Thrustmaster racing wheels that are incredibly capable. The TS-PC, TS-XW, and T-GT II are all extremely similar in producing very similar force feedback. Each wheel is compatible with a different platform, so choosing which one to race F1 24 with depends on which console you are racing on.

Asetek is one of the newer sim racing brands that made a big splash when they launched three high-performance direct-drive racing wheels. How to set up a racing wheel in F1 24

Setting up a third-party peripheral, such as a racing wheel, can sometimes be a little trickier than it should be. Some racing wheels require you to download specific software, and some may not have preset configurations in F1 24 at launch.

How to change force feedback settings in F1 24
