GGH is also a member of the American Hospital Association (AHA) and is fully accredited by The Joint Commission. GGH is both a state designated Stroke Center and holds a Joint Commission certification as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. In addition, GGH is Joint Commission certified as a Hip Replacement Center, Knee Replacement Center and a Chest Pain Center. SSMH was licensed and approved in 2005 as a Critical Access Hospital.
